Terms of Service

By accessing or using CardChecker (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

CardChecker is a trading card analysis platform that provides:

• AI-powered card identification from photos
• Market pricing data from CardMarket and other sources
• AI-based condition analysis and grade estimation
• Collection and watchlist management
• Detailed multi-angle pregrading (coming soon)

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Some features of the Service require credits. By purchasing credits, you agree that:

• Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts
• We reserve the right to change credit pricing with reasonable notice
• Unused credits remain available as long as your account is active

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

Important: The AI-powered analysis provided by CardChecker, including card identification, condition assessment, and grade estimates, is for informational purposes only.

• AI grades are estimates and do not constitute professional grading
• Results may vary from professional grading services (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.)
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of card identification or pricing data
• Market prices are sourced from third parties and may not reflect current values
• You should not rely solely on our analysis for high-value purchase or sale decisions

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Misrepresent AI-generated grades as official professional grades
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud in card trading

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CardChecker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Card images and names are property of their respective owners (The Pokemon Company, etc.).

By uploading images or creating content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store such content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your original content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardChecker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Financial losses from reliance on AI grade estimates or pricing data
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Errors in card identification or condition analysis

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CardChecker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the Account settings.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CardChecker operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
